3 New Features: Clinical Notes Restrictions in a Practice, Lock Clinical Notes, and Set Patient Profiles to Private
Discover 3 features we recently released that give you increased control over who in your team can view, edit, and interact with your practice’s clinical notes and patient records.
👀 Clinical Notes Restrictions in a Practice
Our new Clinical Notes Restrictions feature allows each practitioner to assign access settings to specific clinical notes. This feature allows the visibility of a clinical note to be restricted so that only the owner of a note or anyone in the practice who a note has been shared with can view or open it.
🔒 Lock Clinical Notes
In addition to adjusting note privacy settings, our enhanced Lock Clinical Notes feature gives practitioners the option for all published clinical notes to be locked after a set period of time. After a clinical note has been locked, no one in your practice – including the owner of the note itself – can make any further edits or delete a locked note.
📝 Set Patient Profiles to Private
Practitioners can now set patient profiles to Private. After a patient’s profile is set to private, only users with an existing clinical relationship with that patient can access the patient’s records and clinical notes. Patients set to private also don’t appear in lookups and their details are anonymised in various parts of your Halaxy software.
