Here are the top features and updates that we released in the last month:

Halaxy Evermed integration

With our free Evermed integration, you can give your patients the option to choose to have any medication you prescribe in Halaxy be sent to them via Evermed’s prescription delivery service. Halaxy’s Evermed integration streamlines the prescribing process and helps improve patient care.

Improved Smart Calendar functionality: When you right click on an appointment or other events in your calendar, you can now update the status of the appointment, view or add appointment tasks, as well as edit, cancel, or delete the appointment.

Option to require verification when emailing clinical notes: When you email a clinical note with attached files, you now have the option to require the recipient to enter a verification code before the file attachment(s) can be downloaded or viewed. Learn more.

Important update re phishing emails

Like many organisations, we’ve been made aware of an increase in phishing emails across Australia. Some common signs that an email you’ve received might be a phishing email include: a suspicious email address, spelling and grammar mistakes, and suspicious attachments.

We will only ever send you emails from a ‘@halaxy’ email address, for example community@halaxy.com. This increase in phishing emails is another reason why we recommend all Halaxy users enable at least 2 unique two-factor authentication (2FA) methods on their Halaxy account. Enabling multiple 2FA methods is a quick and easy way to add an extra layer of security to your account.
