The use of secure messaging platforms in healthcare practices has grown rapidly in recent years, particularly in countries such as Australia and the US.
A cross-sectional study examining secure messaging use and the outlook for the communication method argues that secure messaging helps improve “connectivity” between practitioners, increases “care collaboration and efficiency,” and can “reduce interruptions”.
