Halaxy's User Action History feature allows you to stay on top of all activity within your practice

Halaxy released User Action History in late 2022 as a universal feature, providing practices a record of all actions performed by group users within the platform.

User Action History includes information about when the action was performed, what the action was, and who performed it. This feature allows users to track their activity and helps administrators and practice managers monitor the activities of their staff.

How does User Action History work?

When users sign in and actively use Halaxy, their activity is logged in User Action History, with details including date, name of user,  page accessed, action type, activity description, and IP address.

Here are some examples of logged activity in User Action History:

  • Viewed a patient's profile
  • Edited appointment details
  • Updated Halaxy settings
  • Downloaded a clinical note
  • Processed an invoice payment

User Action History can be searched and filtered by action, page, date or user.

How does User Action History benefit your practice?

Let's take a closer look at the benefits of this feature.

  1. Improved accountability: With User Action History, there is greater accountability within the organisation. Users are aware that their actions are logged, and this encourages them to act responsibly.
  2. Enhanced security: User Action History provides a detailed record of all activities performed within the system. This information can be used to identify any unauthorised access attempts, and administrators can take steps to secure the system.
  3. Quicker troubleshooting: User Action History can be used to troubleshoot technical issues you encounter. The detailed record of all actions performed within the system can help identify where the problem occurred and what caused it.

Who can view User Action History?

Any user in your practice group can have access granted or restricted to User Action History in their access level settings.

User Action History is available for free to all practices on Halaxy for records within the last 7 days. To continuously log and access records beyond 7 days, you can subscribe to the User Action History add-on, which requires a monthly credit subscription.

User Action History subscriptions are at:

  • 100 credits per month (practice groups with under 5 active users)
  • 200 credits per month (practice groups with 5 or more active users)

Practices with active subscriptions gain continuous access to User Action History beginning from 30 days prior to their subscription date.
