Important Update: The Way Halaxy Handles 2FA is Changing

Part of our mission to make healthcare better includes setting the standard when it comes to helping you manage your data safely, securely, and responsibly.

The Way Halaxy Handles Security is Changing

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is one of the many ways Halaxy helps you manage your data safely, securely, and responsibly.

From 19 June 2024 you are required to enable at least one 2FA method before you can access your Halaxy account. We are implementing these changes given an increase in reports of scams and cybercrime, which we’re sure you’ll understand.

You can use SMS, email, or Google Authenticator as your primary 2FA verification method.

We strongly recommend that all users enable multiple 2FA methods. Having multiple methods enabled gives you a backup method to access your Halaxy account in case you lose access to a 2FA method. Say you’ve enabled SMS as your primary 2FA method and email as your secondary 2FA method. If you don’t have access to your phone so you can’t receive SMS messages, it means you can still use your second method (email), to access your Halaxy account.

You can also choose to trust a device for 30 days, meaning you won’t have to enter a 2FA verification code every time you log in to Halaxy.
