Welcome to the October edition of our What’s New newsletter. As part of this monthly newsletter, we look at the most popular features released in the last month, what we’re working on, as well as any other important updates that benefit you.

Here are the top features and updates that we released last month: 

Halaxy HICAPS integration update

HICAPS Digital Claims recently added 14 new healthcare professions who can now process WorkSafe Victoria (WSV) claims. 

To quickly and easily process a WSV claim in Halaxy, all you need to do is open a relevant invoice and click Process WorkSafe Victoria. Claims processed in Halaxy automatically appear in your HICAPS Digital Claims practitioner portal, and payments are usually received in your account the next business day – saving you time and giving you payment certainty.

Clinical order reports  

Our updated clinical order reports page makes it quick and easy for you to track every prescription and pathology/imaging order issued to patients in your practice – helping you stay on top of patient clinical order histories and other key clinical information.

Patient invoice scheduling 

You can now automatically collate private fees onto a single invoice, for individual patients at a frequency of your choosing, including daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly.

This makes it easy to bill patients or third-party organisations with a regular bulk invoice that contains all the services you provided for a specific period, instead of having to generate an individual invoice for each service.

🛠️ Other improvements

Discover some of the other improvements and updates we recently rolled out: 

Automatic IHI number verification: With Halaxy you can automatically verify your patients' Medicare or DVA details in two ways: for new patients added in the last 24 hours or for existing patients with upcoming appointments each day. Now you can also automatically verify your patient’s IHI number at the same time as Medicare/DVA verification – removing uncertainty and keeping your records up to date. 

Export and print access setting: New access settings give you the option to allow or restrict user access to export and print functions in Halaxy. 

Appointment end time on invoices: You can now choose to automatically display the appointment end time on any invoice.  

Categories for fax messages: Discover expanded categories to label your fax messages, including archived, completed, new, and read.
