Here are the top features and updates that we released last month: 

Halaxy Chat

Halaxy Chat gives you a new way to communicate with practitioners and administrators in your practice, all within the one program, in the one place. With Halaxy chat you can send in app messages to individual users or your entire practice – without needing any other chat applications or programs.

New Style Preferences

Halaxy’s new style preferences make it easy to customise the visual appearance of your clinical notes and clinical note templates, including customising the font size, colour, type, and spacing – across headings and paragraph fonts.

Deposit Allocations 

You can now seamlessly allocate patient and organisation deposits to multiple invoices all at once, in just a few clicks, rather than having to allocate individually to each invoice. This removes your practice administration and is great if your payer gives you one payment covering multiple invoices.

🛠️ Other improvements

Discover some of the other improvements and updates we recently rolled out: 

Duplicate a prescription: You can now quickly and easily duplicate any prescription you have published in Halaxy. Duplicate prescriptions have the same medication(s) and prescription details, and you can edit any details before publishing the new prescription.

Clinical Note Search: We've improved Halaxy’s clinical note filters so you can now search by keywords, helping you quickly find the clinical notes you are looking for.  

Professional contact management: When a professional contact leaves their practice, you can now remove the practice from the contact's profile.

Patient search improvements: You can now search for patients by their email address or mobile number, making it easy for you to find the information you need.

Upcoming MBS Changes

From 1 January 2025, there will be a number of changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), including the indexation of the extended Medicare Safety Net, updates to diagnostic imaging services, and more.

Halaxy makes it easy for healthcare professionals to automatically update any fees you’ve imported from our Global Preset Fee database, in just one click. This completely removes manual data entry and means the fees you regularly use are always up-to-date.

🎄 Halaxy Holidays Update 

As we head into the holiday season, Halaxy’s customer service team will remain available 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday – excluding weekends and public holidays. In the days between Christmas and New Year, we will be operating a reduced team, so wait times may be slightly longer than usual.
