🌌 Inside Halaxy

In the last few months, we rolled out a number of new features that help give you increased control over who in your team can view, edit, and interact with your practice’s clinical notes and patient records.

Read our blog post to discover how these new features, which include clinical notes restrictions in a practice, locking clinical notes, and setting patient profiles to private, benefit you.

🧾 Preset Fees Update

From March 1, 2024, changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) will see new fees added, updated, or amended for Psychiatry Services, Orthopaedic Services, and a number of other services. We’ve already added these fees into Halaxy for you. Halaxy is unique in just how easy it is for you to update your fees, letting you import automatic updates for the fees you use and that apply to your profession, into your Halaxy software in just 1 click.

🗂️ Research That Caught Our Eye

According to Deloitte’s latest 2024 Global Healthcare Sector Outlook, the lasting impact of the pandemic on the global healthcare industry will continue to accelerate in 2024, including the growing adoption of technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and telemedicine.

Despite technology innovations, for practitioners in countries such as Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, burnout remains a key issue, with practitioners reporting dissatisfaction with pay rates as well as 'time spent on administrative work, and [its impact on] work-life balance'.

In 2024 Halaxy continues to rollout new features, updates, and improvements to help practitioners and administrators reduce the time spent on admin, as we work to make healthcare better for everyone, everywhere. You can view our full list of new features here.
