Medibank's 2024 healthcare trends and innovations feature provides insights into what Australia's healthcare system may look like in the future.  

One of the key takeaways from this analysis was that the current fragmentation of the health system presents 'a huge opportunity to tap into the potential offered’ by getting ‘different parts of the health system working better together' – for both individuals and practitioners.

• Updates to the Medicare Benefits Schedule will see a number of rebates increase 3.5% on 1 July (MBS Online). We have already entered these updated rebates into our Global Fee Database and you can update them now. By updating your preset fees now, Halaxy ensures all your invoices dated from 1 July automatically reflects the new Medicare pricing, without affecting your current fees.
