Halaxy now integrates with Real Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM), which reduces misuse of controlled medicines, and you can now quickly and easily access RTPM data in your Halaxy account.
With Halaxy’s RTPM integration, when you add a drug to a prescription that is monitored in your state, Halaxy automatically checks the national data exchange and notifies you immediately about whether your patient has a relevant medication history. The notification you receive ranges from:
- No history
- Some history
- A history with the medication being prescribed. With this option, you will be presented with a link that directs you to your state's RTPM webpage, letting you easily review the history before you choose to complete a prescription.
Halaxy’s RTPM integration works regardless of which state you are in, and it is automatically included for free in your Halaxy account.
