You can now communicate with your patients via Halaxy Chat
Halaxy Chat gives you an easy way to communicate in real-time with practitioners and administrators in your practice, and now you can use Halaxy Chat with your patients, all in the one program, in the one place.
Using Halaxy Chat to communicate with your patients benefits you in a number of ways, helping to:
✅ Streamline communications: Send messages to your patients and instantly get notified when a patient messages you via Halaxy Chat.
✅ Improve patient care: Halaxy Chat makes it easy for you to directly communicate with your patients in real-time, which helps to improve patient engagement and enables continuity of care.
✅ Find the information you need: Search for the chats of patients and other team members in your practice and sort Halaxy chats by last sent date, and show / hide inactive chats with filters.
Communicating with your patients via Halaxy Chat is 100% free and means you don’t need any other chat applications or programs. Halaxy Chat also gives you the freedom to choose which patients to enable it for.
How to enable Halaxy Chat for patients
To use Halaxy Chat to communicate with your patients you first need to enable it for your group and for each patient you want to communicate with.
To enable Halaxy Chat (for patients), all you need to do is:
- Go to Settings > General.
- Under the Patient Access section, click Edit. (Note: Group chat must already be enabled to enable patient chat.)
- For Chat, select Enabled, and click Save.
After you enable Halaxy Chat (for patients), to enable Halaxy Chat for a specific patient, all you need to do is:
- Go to Personal > Chat and click the Patients tab.
- On the top right, click New Chat.
- In the pop-up, search and select the patient you want to communicate with, then click Start Chat.
Any patient you want to enable Halaxy Chat for must have a Halaxy Patient Portal account, which is easy to set up.
