New feature: Introducing Halaxy Follow-Ups
Halaxy’s new Follow-Up feature helps to further automate and streamline your patient communications, making it easy for you to follow up with your patients to ensure they get the care they need.

Manage and automate patient follow-ups via SMS or email, including by:
- Scheduling a follow-up message to automatically send at the time of your choosing after you publish a clinical note or schedule a follow-up directly from a patient’s profile.
- Creating custom follow-up templates which you can re-use to quickly send future follow-up communications.

Halaxy Follow-Ups makes it easy for you to stay in touch with your patients, helping to ensure continuity of care and to improve patient health outcomes.
Quick guide: how to send a follow-up
To send a follow-up from a clinical note in Halaxy, all you need to do is:
- Create your email and/or SMS communication template for the content for your follow-up.
- Open the clinical note and in the clinical note title bar, click the follow-up icon.
- In the pop-up, configure your follow-up, including: title, delivery method, scheduled time, etc. (You can pre-fill your follow-up details instantly by using follow-up templates.)
- Click Save.
When your clinical note is published, your follow-up message is scheduled to send at your scheduled day and time after publishing. You can edit or cancel your follow-up before it sends.
