Halaxy's automatic fee updates remove admin and ensure you don't miss out on potential rebates
From 1 November, there are a number of changes to the MBS, including new fees, fee increases, fee amendments, and archived fees.
We’ve already updated Halaxy’s Global Fee Database to reflect the MBS changes for 1 November, so you manage the rebate increases straight away without having to type in the new rebate amount on each and every fee and each and every invoice.
All you need to do is click “Update Fees” and Halaxy automatically manages everything for you – making sure you get paid the full rebate every time. By updating your preset fees now, all your invoices dated from 1 November 2025 automatically reflect the new Medicare pricing, without affecting your current fees.
How to update your preset fees
To automatically update your preset fees before 1 November, all you need to do is:
- Go to Finances > Fees and click Update Fees in the top-right corner of the page.
- A pop-up appears with a list of the preset fees you have already imported, showing which fees have a new updated rebate amount available.
- You can also take this opportunity to increase or change your own fees from 1 November.
- Click Save for the rebates and any fee changes to be applied from 1 November.
